* Notification - Significant Shareholding.

Reckitt Benckiser plc has received the following notification. Joh. A Benckiser
GmbH has transferred its holding of 102,830,415 ordinary shares (14.6% of the
issued share capital) in Reckitt Benckiser plc to its subsidiary company, JAB
Investments BV. In addition, Joh. A Benckiser GmbH remains interested in
13,655,000 `A' shares in Reckitt Benckiser Holdings BV which it is entitled to
exchange for 68,275,000 ordinary shares in Reckitt Benckiser plc (9.7% of the
issued share capital).

The above transfer represents an internal transfer of beneficial owner within
the JAB group of companies.
