value we can add for our customers through TotalCare Packages. The Trent has
won around 50 per cent of the market for the new generation of wide body
aircraft'.
Emirates, the Dubai-based airline has ordered 10 A340-600s - which are powered
by the Trent 500; business worth $900 million to Rolls-Royce. The airline also
signed a TotalCare agreement which has been extended to cover the airline's
entire A340 fleet.

by a long-term TotalCare agreement. The total Trent business from Qatar is
worth $750 million.

subsidiary, QantasLink.

a significant demand for the provision of spare parts and aftermarket services.
The company's investment in its global repair and overhaul network and enhanced
services capability enable it to offer tailored, long-term support packages for
its customers. More than 400 such contracts have been secured. The company's
aftermarket revenues accounted for 44 per cent of group sales in 2002 and has
grown by 60 per cent over the last 5 years. The company expects growth to
continue as the installed base of engines grows and matures
