Serco Group plc briefing for Investors and Analysts
As part of its ongoing communications strategy, Serco Group plc will today, 24
June, host site visits for Analysts and Investors. These will focus on Serco's
growing presence in the emerging health market and Serco's business in science
with visits to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, a flagship project
for the Government's private finance initiative and the National Physical
Laboratory, the UK's national standards laboratory for physical measurements.
In addition, during the week, Serco will be holding its routine series of
briefings with Analysts prior to entering its closed period for the half year
ended 30 June 2002.
At its AGM on 3 May, Serco issued a positive trading update and will not be
issuing a changed update on trading expectations for the current year. The
continued flow of new opportunities and the business's high visibility means
that confidence in the Group's growth prospects and results for the year,
remain strong.
