Resignation of director
The board of St Ives plc announces that Mr Simon Marquis has resigned as senior
non-executive director of the Company, together with all of its Committees,
with effect from the conclusion of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, and
so will not be offering himself for re-election at the meeting. Mr Marquis
joined the Board in 2003 and will have completed nine years of service as a
director of the Company. This is the recommended maximum period of service for
independent directors under the current corporate governance best practice
guidelines.
The board thanks Mr Marquis for his contribution to the Company throughout his
nine years as a director.
Earlier this year the Board announced the appointment of Mrs Helen Stevenson as
a new independent non-executive director.
