St Ives plc - Board appointment
The board of St Ives plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Ward
to the board with immediate effect. He is Chief Executive Officer of the
Group's Commercial and Point-of-Sale activities.

Background notes:
Simon Ward (aged 38) is a photographer by training who has been largely
responsible for the growth of SP Group since 1997. Initially he was responsible
for the development of its digital business and in 1999 led an £18 million
management buy-out of the business as a whole. By the time of its acquisition
by St Ives in 2004, SP Group had become a £38 million business. At St Ives, he
is responsible for Group Sales (launched in April 2006) and has been Chief
Executive Officer of Commercial and Point-of-Sale activities since August 2006.
