Transaction in Own Shares

Strategic Equity Capital Plc

The Company announces that it purchased on 10 March 2008 45,000 Ordinary 1p
shares for treasury at a price of 61.0p per share.

Following this transaction the number of Ordinary shares in issue remains
72,626,000, of which 500,000 are now held in treasury.

The number of Ordinary shares for the purpose of total voting rights is
72,126,000.
