Statement re Possible Offer
The board of Tullett Prebon plc (the "Company") announced on 10 March 2010 that
it was in preliminary discussions with a third party about a possible offer
being made for the Company. These discussions have been constructive, however,
it has not been possible to reach agreement on the terms of any offer, and
accordingly these discussions have now terminated. The third party has
confirmed that it does not intend to pursue a possible offer for the Company at
this time.
For the purposes of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers the Company is no
longer considered to be in an offer period.
