NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS, PERSONS

DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY OR CONNECTED PERSONS

In accordance with DTR 3.1.2R, the Company was informed that on 17 June 2011,
the following transaction was made by Helen Langlands, the wife of Allister G
Langlands a Director of the Company:

  * sold 600,000 shares being 0.13% of the issued share capital of the Company,
at an average sale price of 648.5659p per share, such transaction taking place
on the London Stock Exchange.

Mrs Langlands is a connected person of Mr Langlands for the purposes of DTR
3.1.2R.

  

Following the transaction, Mrs Langlands holds 879,845 ordinary shares
representing 0.19% of the issued share capital of the Company. Mr Langlands has
a beneficial interest in 506,675 ordinary shares representing 0.1% of the
issued share capital of the Company and holds 40,000 share options.

The Company's issued capital consists of 474,911,204 ordinary shares with
voting rights.
