Appointment of New Director

The Board of Worldwide Healthcare Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Humphrey van der Klugt as an independent non-executive Director of the Company, with effect from Monday, 15 February 2016.

Mr van der Klugt is non-executive Chairman of Fidelity European Values PLC and a non-executive Director of JPM Claverhouse Investment Trust plc and Allianz Technology Trust PLC. He was formerly a non-executive Director of Murray Income Trust PLC and BlackRock Commodities Income Investment Trust plc. Mr van der Klugt retired from a long and distinguished career as a fund manager and senior executive at Schroders in 2004 having initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co (now KPMG) in 1979.

He will be a member of the Audit Committee, the Nominations Committee and the Management Engagement & Remuneration Committee on appointment.

Mr van der Klugt’s appointment will be proposed to shareholders for election at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in September 2016.

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13R(2) to (6).
