3i Group plc Short Term Bonds



Over the coming months, 3i Group plc may have an interest in making purchases at
varying prices and amounts of 3i Holdings plc's Floating Rate Notes due 6 July
2007 and the 3i Group plc 6.875% Bonds due 10 December 2007. 3i Group plc has
therefore appointed UBS Investment Bank to act as its agent to acquire some of
the Group's short term bonds.
