Appointment of non-executive Director



3i Infrastructure Limited ('the Company') announces that Mr Steven Peter
Wilderspin has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company, and a
member of the Audit Committee, with effect from 20 September 2007.

Mr Wilderspin (aged 38) has been Principal of Wilderspin Independent Governance
since April 2007 and Managing Director of Active Services (Jersey) Limited since
September 2007. He was previously a director of Maples Finance Jersey Limited
where he was responsible for fund administration and fund directorship business.
He is a former director of GED Long Short Equity Fund Limited and Wake
Alternative Investment SPC.


There are no other matters to disclose in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R of
the FSA's Listing Rules.
