Draw-down of commitment into the 3i India Infrastructure Fund


The Board of 3i Infrastructure Limited notes today's announcement by 3i Group
plc of the investment made by the 3i India Infrastructure Fund ('the Fund') in
Soma Enterprise Limited ('Soma').


The Board confirms the Fund has drawn down commitments of US$51 million (£25
million) from 3i Infrastructure Limited to provide funding for the investment in
Soma.
