Investment by the 3i India Infrastructure Fund
The Board of 3i Infrastructure Limited notes today's announcement by 3i Group
plc of the investment made by the 3i India Infrastructure Fund ('the Fund') into
Adani Power Private Ltd ('Adani Power').
As disclosed in its pre-close statement, made on 28 September 2007, 3i
Infrastructure Limited has committed US$250 million to the Fund. The Board
confirms the Fund has drawn down commitments of US$114 million (£56 million)
from 3i Infrastructure Limited to provide funding for the investment in Adani
Power.
