Interim Management Statement 4 November 2010
The Board of 4imprint, the international promotional products group, issues its interim management statement for the third quarter, being the period from 4 July 2010 to 2 October 2010.
Group revenue for the third quarter at £52.67m was 28% ahead of prior year (24% at constant currency). Year to date (39 weeks ended 2 October 2010) revenue was £147.86m, 21% ahead of prior year (21% in constant currency). Year to date revenue in each of the three divisions was ahead of prior year.
Revenue in the Direct Marketing Division showed strong organic growth. Quarter three revenue was 24% ahead of prior year and year to date revenue at £97.24m was 19% ahead of prior year. Internal performance order metrics continue to be encouraging.
Revenue in the Brand Addition Division (formerly End User Division) in quarter three was 55% ahead of prior year and year to date revenue at £40.47m was 34% ahead of prior year. This growth is driven by new international contracts secured in the prior year, coupled with growth from our existing customers.
Revenue, including inter divisional revenue, in SPS (formerly the Trade Division) in quarter three was 9% below prior year, reflecting weaker demand, particularly in July and August. Year to date revenue at £12.77m was 1% ahead of prior year.
The Board anticipates continuing overall growth in the fourth quarter despite more demanding prior year comparatives.
