APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The 600 Group PLC, ("600 Group" or the "Company"), the manufacturer and distributor of precision engineering products to international markets, is pleased to announce that Christopher (Chris) John Cundy, aged 48, will be appointed to the Board as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 August 2009. He will also join the Company's Audit and Remuneration Committees on that date.
Chris was appointed by VT Group plc ("VT" or the "Group") from KPMG in 1993 as Group Accountant. He was promoted to the position of Finance Director in 1997 and became a main board director of the Group in 1999. Chris is currently Commercial Director at VT, a role which he has held since January 2006.
There are no further disclosures relating to Chris Cundy required under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
