The  600 Group  PLC Recommended Proposals for the Cancellation and Repayment
of Preference Share Capital


At an Extraordinary General Meeting today of The 600 Group PLC the Special
Resolutions relating to the above proposals were passed.

It is expected that the reduction and cancellation of capital will take place
during September and it is anticipated that cheques will be posted by the end
of September.
