Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

 

York, U.K. 19 December 2024: Abingdon Health plc (AIM: ABDX), a leading international lateral flow contract research (CRO) and contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), announces the appointment of Tom Hayes as Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and a Director of the Company. Tom will join Abingdon on 6 January 2025 on a part-time basis and will assume the full-time position by April 2025.

 

Tom has significant capital markets experience having spent the last ten years as Group Finance Director at Northern Bear plc, an AIM-listed Group of ten specialist building services companies assembled through an acquisition strategy. Tom has previously held roles at Sentio Insight LLP, a boutique advisory firm, providing a range of financial due diligence and transaction services, and Ernst & Young LLP, gaining corporate finance advisory experience in the private equity, corporate and public sectors. Tom qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co.

The Abingdon Simply Test range is also sold through international distributors and through other channels in the UK and Ireland, such as pharmacy chains.
