ABERDEEN ASIAN SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK

On 6 November 2015, Aberdeen Asian Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC purchased in the market 25,000 Ordinary shares at 730.863 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

As a result of the above transaction the Ordinary shares in issue, shares held in treasury, and the Total Voting Rights of the Company are now as follows:

Number of Ordinary Shares held in treasury                                         1,863,423
