Borrowing Facilities
On 31 March 2008 British Assets Trust plc ('the Company') redeemed in their
entirety the £60 million 6.625 per cent bonds ('the Bonds') which, under the
terms of the Bonds, fell due for redemption on that date.
The Company has replaced the Bonds with a five year £60 million multi-currency
revolving advance facility with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Amounts drawn
down under the facility will vary. Initially the amount drawn down will be such
as to maintain the current net gearing level.
