Aberdeen Diversified Income and Growth Trust plc (the "Company") announces that it has sold from treasury 200,000 Ordinary shares at a price of 124.5 pence per share.

The shares rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares and dealings are expected to commence on 6 November 2018.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

330,701,705 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

34,709,169 Ordinary shares held in treasury

365,410,874 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)

The total number of Ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 330,701,705 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
