             Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust PLC (the "Company")

                              Total Voting Rights


In accordance with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules, the total number of ordinary shares of 10p of the Company in
issue at 31 March 2008 was 16,273,367, with each share holding one voting right.

Subsequent to 31 March 2008, there has been a further buyback of 10,000 shares
on 3 April 2008.  As at close of business on 3 April 2008, the total number of
ordinary 10p shares in issue is 16,263,367.

The total number of shares in issue at 3 April 2008 may be used by shareholders
as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are
required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the
Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
