On 26 January 2012 Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust PLC purchased 300,000 ordinary shares at 295.0 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

15,157,367 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

300,000 Ordinary shares held in treasury

15,457,367 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
