ABERDEEN LATIN AMERICAN INCOME FUND LIMITED

On 20 November 2013, Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited bought back 500,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 83 pence per share.  Following the buy back, there are 51,605,185 ordinary shares in issue.  The share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.

Following this buyback of shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 51,605,185 with each Ordinary share holding one voting right.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 51,605,185 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
