SHARE BUY-BACK ENGAGEMENT

abrdn New India Investment Trust plc (the "Company") announces that it has appointed Winterflood

Investment Trusts ("Winterflood") to act as buy-back agent to effect market purchases on behalf of the Company for the period until 31 December 2024.

Pursuant to and during the term of the appointment, Winterflood may independently of, and without influence by, the Company, effect on-market purchases of the Company's shares from time to time at its absolute discretion, subject to certain parameters.

Any shares purchased pursuant to the Share Repurchase Programme will be under the Company's general buy back authority of 14.99% of the Company's issued share capital, as approved at the Company's 2023 AGM, or similar authority to be sought at the 2024 AGM.

A buy-back of Shares on any trading day may represent a significant proportion of the daily trading volume in the Shares on the Exchange (and could exceed the 25% limit of the average daily trading volume of the preceding 20 business days as referred to in the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 2016/1052 on buy-back programmes).
