PURCHASE OF OWN ORDINARY SHARES

 

On 4 April 2023 abrdn New India Investment Trust plc (the "Company") purchased in the market 35,000 Ordinary 25p shares ("Ordinary share(s)") at a price of 516.0 pence per Ordinary share. These shares will be held in treasury.

 

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

 

55,739,921 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

3,330,219 Ordinary shares held in treasury

59,070,140 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)

 

The total number of Ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company is 55,739,921 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
