Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC ("the Company")

Share Buy-Back

On 20 March 2015, Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust PLC purchased 37,260 shares of its own 25p ordinary shares at 290.51 pence per share.  These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is 70,396,030 (excluding treasury shares) ordinary shares of 25p each.  The number of ordinary shares of 25p held in treasury is 1,231,145.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is 70,396,030 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
