Lo-Q plc

Contract Win
- Lo-Q to install Q-band at Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas and Wet'n'Wild Phoenix -
- The first virtual queuing system of its type to be installed at either park -
Lo-Q (AIM: LOQ), the AIM-listed technology solutions provider to the attractions and leisure industry, is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with both Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas and Wet'n'Wild Phoenix to install its patented Q-band virtual queuing wristband solution at both parks.
Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas, which opened in late May is Nevada's largest water park, the only water park in Las Vegas and features over 25 exhilarating slides and attractions that range from extreme water slides, including the first-of-its-kind in North America three-person Rattler, to family friendly interactive play areas. Wet'n'Wild Phoenix will also install Lo-Q's Q-band. The park is home to over 30 slides and attractions for thrill seekers and families alike. Wet'n'Wild Phoenix features the world's only Maximum Velocity Duelling H2O Water Coasters and the latest addition Wet'n'Wild Jr. a kid's size water park with smaller versions of some of the park's most popular attractions.
Five year agreements have been signed with both parks.
Q-band is Lo-Q's innovative waterproof RFID wristband. It allows guests to queue virtually for their favourite slides without having to stand in line. Q-band users select their desired ride from multiple self-service kiosks located around the park and are notified by their wristband when it's their turn to ride. Guests then use a separate entrance to enter the ride and skip standing in line. Once operational, the Q-band system will - for an additional fee - enable visitors to explore the park more easily than ever before.
Both parks are a part of Village Roadshow Theme Parks, a division of Village Roadshow Limited, which is Australia's largest theme park operator and the provider of some of the most thrilling entertainment, rides and slides available anywhere in the world. Headquartered on the Gold Coast, Village Roadshow Theme Parks operates a number of attractions in Australia and three Wet'n'Wild branded water parks in the United States.
Commenting on the news Tom Burnet, Chief Executive Officer of Lo-Q plc said:
"I am delighted to announce these agreements with our newest parks: Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas and Wet'n'Wild Phoenix. These five year contracts are particularly exciting for Lo-Q as they open up a new relationship for us with Village Roadshow Theme Parks. Q-band is the first virtual queuing system of its type to be used by Village Roadshow in any of their parks and we are immensely proud that the Wet'n'Wild Parks in Las Vegas and Phoenix have chosen us and our innovative water park solution as the first step in this direction. Like us, both parks place great importance on delivering the very best experience for their guests."
Takuya Ohki, General Manager at Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas said:
"We are very pleased to be working with Lo-Q for what will be a very exciting opening season. Lo-Q's Q-band technology will enable us to deliver a premium experience to our guests, reducing the amount of time standing in line and leaving them free to enjoy more of the park's attractions."
