Acorn Income Fund Limited (the 'Company') - Placing of new Ordinary Shares
The Company has placed 2,600,000 new ordinary shares at 133.5 pence per share
(the 'Shares'). This results in the issued share capital of the Company
increasing from 27,000,002 to 29,600,002 ordinary shares.
In order to maintain the gearing on the Company's ordinary shares, the Company
has also arranged to increase its term loan with Bank of Scotland by
£2,279,000, to a total of £25,616,000.
Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the Shares to be
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority, and to the London
Stock Exchange for the Shares to be admitted to trading on the London Stock
Exchange's market for listed securities. Application has also been made for
the Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the Channel Islands Stock
Exchange. Dealings in the Shares are expected to commence on 13 December
2000.
