DAWMED AWARDED PREFERRED SUPPLIER STATUS FOR THE COMPANY'S 'CLINIC' WDD PRODUCT
                                   IN ENGLAND

The Board of DawMed, the medical devices company which designs, manufactures,
sells and services washer-disinfector-dryers ('WDD') used by NHS Trust
hospitals, private hospitals and clinics, is delighted to confirm that it has
received confirmation of its Preferred Supplier Status award by the NHS, for
Primary Care bench top WDD products, in England.

The award adds to DawMed's already established Scottish Healthcare Supplier
status for the Primary Care market in Scotland, and follows two recent contract
wins with a total value in excess of £1 million.

Executive Chairman, Kevin Gilmore, stated: 'We believe that the introduction
during 2005 of the new compliance requirements in the UK Primary Care market to
match those already established in the Secondary Care market should generate
further growth in UK direct and indirect sales of our 'Clinic' bench top machine
to dentists, general practitioners and other Primary Care practitioners. Today's
news, which was foreshadowed in my statement in the Company's December 2004
Preliminary Announcement, enhances DawMed's position in the market, and provides
a stronger platform from which to continue building.'
