ADVFN.COM PLC AND TELEWEST AGREE TERMS FOR ADVFN TO 
BROADCAST OVER TELEWEST'S BROADBAND NETWORKS                               
                              
ADVFN.COM PLC, (LSE: AFN), ('ADVFN'), one of the UK's foremost providers of 
financial information, announced today that it has signed an agreement with
Telewest Communications, a leading provider of broadband communications
services. 

Under terms of the agreement, ADVFN will provide real-time share prices, stock
market news and information, investment tools, bulletin boards and investment
education on Active Digital, Telewest's interactive television service. 

Commenting on the agreement, Michael Boydell, Managing Director of ADVFN,
stated,  'The move by ADVFN into interactive television with Telewest is part
of ADVFN's vision of reaching investors by the broadest range of media.
Interactive television, along with our forward thinking plans towards WAP
technology and other new media, will keep us at the forefront of the provision
