ADVFN.COM plc EXPANDS INTO EUROPE


ADVFN.COM plc, ('ADVFN'), one of the UK's leading providers of financial
information, today announces the opening of its first European website,
ADVFN.FR, providing online financial information dedicated to the French stock
market.

ADVFN's expansion into France will allow the Company access to a mature online
marketplace of nine million users.  A  high percentage of those use the Internet
for financial information and transactions.

The creation of ADVFN.FR is the first step towards ADVFN's strategy to establish
a global brand and  confirms the group's commitment to develop new overseas
websites using the proven cost effective formula employed in the UK.

Benedicte Nauleau, MBA (essec), heads up ADVFN's French subsidiary and its local
team.  Benedicte was previously head of legal affairs for Unigate Plc's (UNIQ)
French subsidiary.  She has significant experience in a variety of Internet
businesses.
