RESOLUTIONS OF RUUKKI GROUP'S EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

Ruukki Group Plc ("Ruukki" or the "Company") (LSE: RKKI, OMX: RUG1V) is pleased to announce that all the resolutions proposed at today's Extraordinary General Meeting (the "EGM"), as published in the invitation to the meeting on 14 June 2013, were passed.

AMENDING THE COMPANY'S ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION
The EGM resolved that the article 1 of the Company's Articles of Association be amended to the following:

The New Article 1:

1 Company name and domicile
The name of the company is Afarak Group Oyj and domicile is Helsinki.
The company name in English is Afarak Group Plc.

RESOLUTION ON THE REMUNERATION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The EGM also resolved that that the non-executive Board Members who serve on the Board's Committees shall be paid additional EUR 1,500 per month for the committee work. Directors monthly remuneration fee of EUR 3,000 will remain unchanged.

A further announcement on when the name change will take effect will be made in due course.

OTHER INFORMATION
As at 5 July 2013 Ruukki Group Plc has in issue a total of 248,432,000 ordinary shares of nil par value. The Company holds in total 4,297,437 of its own shares in treasury and as a result the total number of voting rights is 244,134,563.
