with market-leading IPTV middleware

Amino Communications, the world leading IPTV platform supplier, is pleased to confirm that its AmiNET530 Personal Video Recorder ('PVR') has been certified by Minerva Networks, a leading provider of open-platform carrier class solutions for the delivery of broadband television services.

The AmiNET530, an advanced, compact and cost-effective PVR IPTV Set Top Box (STB), combines the benefits of low bit-rate codecs including H.264 Advanced Video Codec (AVC) and offers the user the ability to drive high definition (HD) displays via analogue and HDMI connections. This advanced interactive STB also includes the ability to view recorded content either locally or via other connected STBs in the home. 

It has successfully completed both lab and field trials and is now deemed fully compatible with Minerva's iTVManager 3.x platform. 

iTVManager, deployed by over 120 operators worldwide, is a comprehensive software solution for the delivery and management of a broad set of television services, including high definition TV (HDTV), personal video recording (PVR), video-on-demand (VOD), music, games, and communication applications.
