BOARD APPOINTMENT
Amino Technologies plc ('Amino'; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadband
network software and systems company is pleased to announce the appointment with
immediate effect of Andrew Burke as a non-executive Director.
Until recently, Andrew Burke, aged 45, was at British Telecommunications plc as
CEO of BT Entertainment where he devised and ran the company's TV-over-Broadband
initiative (BT Vision), chaired their Premium Rate Services activity, pioneered
their Digital Media Services and led their relationships with the media world.
Prior to that Andrew was Director Online Services at BT Retail and was
responsible for all the value-added services developed to complement broadband
offerings in the UK including VoIP, security and payment services. Previously
Andrew was founder and CEO of eVerger, an investment fund created in April 2000
by Aegis Group, a leading communications and marketing consultancy, and Warburg
Pincus, the global private equity partnership, which together committed $100
million to the venture. Before that, Andrew was COO of eVentures, the Internet
venture capital fund owned by News Corporation and Softbank. He was the founder
and CEO of LineOne (acquired by Tiscali), the Internet Service Provider, and
established News International's initial Internet presence back in 1994.

Andrew Phillip Burke is currently a director of APB Consultancy Ltd. and Rawflow
Ltd. and Chairman of Crisp Thinking Ltd. In the past five years, he has been a
director of eVerger Group Ltd., eVerger Ltd., eVerger Associates Ltd., eVerger
(UK) Ltd., Netusability Ltd., Dynamic Logic (Europe) Ltd., IQ Commerce Europe
Ltd. and for a 3 month period he was also interim CEO of Canine Corporation plc
which is now in administration. No further disclosure is required under
Paragraph (g) to Schedule Two of the AIM Rules with respect to Andrew Phillip
Burke.
