Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Amino Technologies plc (LSE: AMO), the Cambridge-based leader in digital entertainment solutions for IPTV, Internet TV and in-home multimedia distribution is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Donald McGarva to the Amino Board (the "Board") as a Non-Executive Director. Mr McGarva's appointment takes effect immediately.

Mr McGarva is a life-long logistics professional with deep experience of supply chain issues in many international markets, particularly Asia and the United States. Currently a Senior Vice President at DHL Supply Chain, Mr McGarva is responsible for all of DHL's logistics operations across Japan, the Philippines and Korea.

This work covers many clients across a range of industry verticals, including the consumer technology and communications equipment verticals in which Amino operates.  Mr McGarva also has first-hand experience of the technology sector, gained during his tenure as Director of Product Management and Logistics Services at Fujitsu-ICL where he was responsible for the manufacture and sale of a range of hardware equipment.
