                       Appointment of Executive Director

Amino Technologies plc ('Amino' or 'the Group'; stock code: AMO), the
Cambridge-based broadband network software and systems company, today announces
the appointment of Paul Fellows, Chief Technology Officer for the Group, as an
executive Director with effect from 22nd July 2005.

A Cambridge graduate with an MA in Natural Sciences, Paul Fellows, aged 44, 
began his career in software design and implementation, working in a number of 
consultancy roles. Between 1995 and 1998, he was Chief Engineer for Pi Research 
Limited, where he worked on automotive electronic and telemetry systems for
both Formula One and Indy car race teams.

Paul joined Amino in 1998 in its start-up phase and since then has overseen the
development of its in-house technology and managed the growth of its technical 
team, which now numbers 35 and encompasses the full spectrum of requisite 
technical skills from hardware design and software development through to 
industrial design and production engineering.
