                     MAJOR ORDER RECEIVED FROM TIER 1 TELCO


Amino Technologies plc ('Amino'; stock code: AMO), the Cambridge based broadband
network software and systems company, is pleased to announce that it has
received a major order from a Russian 'tier 1' telco for its IPTV set top boxes.

This customer had been conducting extensive field trials of its IPTV service
since September 2004.  It is now commencing a volume service roll-out.  To date
the customer has taken delivery of 15,000 units of the AmiNET 110 product
(MPEG2) with a further 5,000 units scheduled for delivery in August.  The new
order calls for deliveries of an additional 49,000 units for delivery by January
2006.  The value of the new order is just under $5 million.

Bob Giddy, Amino's Chief Executive stated:

delighted to see the first volume roll out by a tier 1 telco of IPTV services
using Amino technology.'
