Result of 2016 Annual General Meeting

The Board of Africa Opportunity Fund Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions proposed by the Company in its notice of annual general meeting, dated 12 May 2016, were today approved by its shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting.
