Termination of Memorandum of Understanding

Agriterra Ltd, the AIM listed company focussed on the agricultural sector in central and southern Africa, announces that it no longer intends to pursue the proposed acquisition of Equatorial Biofuels (Guernsey) Limited, from Equatorial Palm Oil Plc, which was the subject of a memorandum of understanding announced by the Company on 18 August 2009.  Following further evaluation, the Company believes that the project was not synergistic with its existing operations in Mozambique and was outside its current expertise within the agricultural sector.
