                            NOTICE OF BOARD MEETING

The board of directors (the 'Board') of Air China Limited (the 'Company')
hereby announces that a meeting of the Board of the Company will be held at The
Conference Room, Air China Building, 36 Xiaoyun Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing
on Tuesday, 30 October 2007 at 9:30 a.m. for the purpose of considering and
approving the results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2007.
