Proposed fund raising
Close Enterprise VCT PLC announces a further offer for subscription of up to 20
million new shares. A prospectus in connection with the further offer is
expected to be published on or about 23 November 2007.
Managed by Close Ventures, Close Enterprise VCT aims to provide investors with
regular, consistent income plus long term capital growth, by investing up to
broadly 50 per cent. of its funds in lower risk, asset-based businesses,
principally within the leisure sector and related areas. The balance of the net
funds raised through the further offer will be invested in higher growth
businesses across a variety of sectors of the UK economy ranging from lower
risk, income producing businesses to higher risk technology companies.
