Appointment of new director

The Board of Albion Technology & General VCT PLC would like to announce the appointment of Modwenna Rees-Mogg as a non executive director with effect from today's date.

Mrs Rees Mogg is director of Albion Prime VCT PLC which merged with Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC on 25 September 2012. Albion Prime VCT PLC was placed in members' voluntary liquidation on 25 September 2012 pursuant to s.110 of the Insolvency Act 1986 for the purposes of effecting a merger with Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC.

Prior to 25 September 2012, Albion Prime VCT PLC was solvent and was a going concern able to pay all its liabilities when they fell due. All assets and liabilities are in the process of being transferred by the liquidators of Albion Prime VCT PLC to Albion Venture Capital Trust PLC.

There are no further disclosures under LR 9.6. to be made.
