• Trading Update
Dowlis Corporate Solutions plc, the marketing, information and logistics
solutions business is pleased to make the following trading update prior to the
announcement of its annual results for the 12 months ended 31 December 2006,
which is expected to take place on 29th March 2007.
The board remains confident that decisive short-term actions executed during
2006 and adherence to our focused strategy has ensured that the business
performs in line with market expectations, and is in a position to take
advantage of the future benefits of the lower cost base now in place.
The business is split into three distinct divisions: Promotional Merchandise,
Information Services and Industry Software. The directors are encouraged by
increasing numbers of PromoServe subscriptions and look forward to further
growth of the Trade Only Information Services business throughout 2007.

has 21 years' experience as a public company director; Martin Varley, Chief
Executive Officer, who has 17 years' experience in the promotional
merchandise industry and has gained an extensive knowledge of the supply and
distribution sectors of the market; Barrett Bedrossian, Finance Director,
formerly finance director of Exley Publications Ltd prior to which he spent
14 years at a subsidiary of 4imprint PLC; Craig Slater, Non Executive
Director, currently a Director of RTS prior to which he was finance director
and then Chief Operating Officer of 4imprint PLC; and, Keith Willis, Non
Executive Director, who was awarded a lifetime achievement award from PROMOTA
in recognition of his 30 years' contribution to the industry.
• It is estimated that the annual UK market for promotional merchandise is
£1 billion (source: PROMOTA), which comprises approximately 2,000
distributors supported by 600 UK based suppliers of a wide range of
products and services.
• The Group currently has three primary sales channels:
Promotional Products - the Directors believe Dowlis is the second largest
distributor of promotional products in the UK. It sources products from around
the World which are then personalised in accordance with the client's brand and
design guidelines in support of their wider marketing campaigns. In addition,
AdProducts.com - are suppliers to independent distributors via an annual
catalogue, exhibition and website. AdProducts.com receives orders from
approximately 25 per cent of the UK's distributors who access the product which
is personalised with company details using the in house print facility.
Information Services - Trade OnlyTM is the leading information resource for the
UK promotional product industry. The www.tradeonly.co.uk site contains details
of over 10,000 products, and is accessed by over 4000 registered users. In
addition, Trade OnlyTM hold two exhibitions and a roadshow where suppliers meet
distributors to show their latest products.
Industry Software- is the leading provider of software by number of users to the
UK promotional product Industry. There are three key offerings aimed at the
related markets of Print Management, Office Supplies and Promotional Products,
with the software 'sold' on a monthly fee basis. Users benefit from a data feed
that is provided by Trade OnlyTM providing detailed information on products,
pricing and supplier details.
