                             Director Shareholding

Hambledon was advised today that the Esterel Trust, a discretionary trust of
which George Eccles, the Chairman of Hambledon, is a potential beneficiary,
today acquired 62,500 ordinary shares in the Company at 8.875p per share.

Accordingly, George Eccles now has an interest in 62,500 ordinary shares
representing 0.02 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
