Thai Rehabilitation Plan Update
Further to the Company's announcement on 5 May 2021, the initial meeting with the Official Receiver to discuss and vote upon the Rehabilitation Plan for Thai Airways occurred, as expected, on 12 May at 9am Bangkok time by way of a virtual meeting. In accordance with the Thailand Bankruptcy Act, in order to allow further time to consider certain proposed amendments to the Rehabilitation Plan tabled by the Official Receiver and certain creditors, a sufficient percentage of creditors voted to postpone the vote on the Plan. The Court has granted a one week extension and the meeting to vote on the Rehabilitation Plan (and amendments to it) is now scheduled to occur on 19 May 2021. The Company will make a further announcement thereafter.
