ADDITIONAL LISTING


Aminex PLC ("Aminex"), the oil and gas company listed on the London and Irish
Stock Exchanges, announces the issue of 250,000 new Ordinary Shares of €0.06
each in the Company (the "Shares") at a price of Stg15.25 pence per share to
Envoi Limited. The Shares (which have an aggregate value at the issue price of
Stg£38,125) have been issued in part settlement of a marketing fee earned by
Envoi Limited for work carried out in connection with the farm-in by Petrom, the
Romanian state oil company, into Aminex's Tanzanian exploration project
announced by Aminex on 19th December 2002.


Application has made to the UK Listing Authority for the Shares to be admitted
to the Official List, and to the London and Irish Stock Exchanges for the Shares
to be admitted to trading. It is expected that dealing in the Shares will
commence on 17th January 2003.
