Inclusion of Kun-Manie in Far East Development Programme
Amur Minerals Corporation ("Amur" or the "Company"), a nickel-copper sulphide mineral exploration and resource development company focused on the far east of Russia, is pleased to inform investors that it has provided Kun-Manie project information and an associated preliminary development plan to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Amur Oblast in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Oblast. The plan has been included as a part of the oblast's strategy in the Development of the Russian Far East ("Minvostokrazvitiya - DRFE") Programme of the Russian Far East District.
Mining is a material part of the development programme for the district covering the period through till 2025. The programme includes projects from throughout the nine regions of the Russian Far East District including exploration and future production projects. Infrastructure development is a part of the programme.
The Amur Oblast submission will be forwarded to the DRFE offices located in Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk Krai towards the end of Q1 2013 where it will be unified with those from the other eight regions of the Far East District and subsequently presented to the Federal authorities in Moscow. Funding and finalisation of the comprehensive plan will be reviewed and modified by Moscow authorities that will have the right/power to modify the proposed programme and associated funding as required. A final approval date for the Development Programme has not yet been established.
