CSFI is an independent think-tank formed in 1993 to stimulate research into the
future of the financial services industry and is today highly regarded as shown

Latham & Co., Limited to become Chief Executive of Arbuthnot Securities Limited,
the Group's recently acquired investment banking business. At the same time he
continues to be Finance Director of Secure Trust Banking Group PLC.
Henry Angest, Group Chairman & Chief Executive, commenting on the Board
appointments, said:
'Following the Group's strategic expansion into investment banking earlier this
year, we are continuing to broaden the composition of the Board. I am, therefore
delighted to announce the appointment of David Lascelles and John Reed.
I welcome David Lascelles as a Non-Executive Director. David has great knowledge
of the financial services industry, stemming from his time at the Financial
Times and from the work he now does at the CSFI. His appointment as a
Non-Executive Director will benefit the Group in its further development.
I am equally pleased to welcome John Reed to the Board. John's extensive banking
experience, including 13 years at SG Hambros, will assist the Group in building
on the progress already made in its private banking business, Arbuthnot Latham &
Co., Limited.'
