Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC ('KTS' or the 'Company'), provider of
professional market information services in the finance sector, despatched a
document on 10 November 2006 ('Document') to the holders of its ordinary shares
of 0.1 pence each ('Shareholders') convening an extraordinary general meeting ('
EGM') in order to seek the approval of Shareholders to three resolutions to
increase the directors' of KTS existing authorities under sections 80 and 89 of
the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) and to increase the authorised share capital
of the Company.
The EGM is to be held at the offices of Corporate Synergy Plc, 30 Old Broad
Street, London EC2 1HT on 4 December 2006 at 12.30 p.m.
KTS is pleased to announce that it has raised £242,571 through a placing of
24,257,100 new ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each at a price of 1 penny per
share. Dealings in the new Ordinary Shares are expected to commence on AIM on 1
December 2006.
This placing makes use of all of the authority currently available to KTS to
issue shares without recourse to shareholders. It is the intention of the
Company to raise additional funds immediately upon approval by shareholders of
the Company of the resolutions to be proposed at the EGM.
