Appointment of new Group Finance Director

Anite plc ("Anite"), the international company providing software solutions to the wireless testing and leisure travel industry, is pleased to confirm the appointment of Richard Amos as Group Finance Director with effect from 2 November 2009. This follows the announcement on 27 August 2009 that Mr Amos had agreed to join Anite. 

From 2008 to date, Richard has held the position of Group Finance Director with Agilisys Holdings Limited, a private company specialising in IT outsourcing and services business. Prior to that Richard was Group Finance Director at Retail Decisions PLC (2004 to 2007) and Vega Group PLC (2000 to 2003). Richard is a graduate of Cambridge University in Management Studies and Engineering and he qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in 1990.   

Commenting on the board changes, Clay Brendish Anite's Chairman, stated: 

"We are very pleased to confirm Richard's appointment. This is a key post and we are confident that Richard will prove to be a valuable addition our Board." 

Richard Amos commented:

"I am looking forward to joining Anite at this significant point in its development."  

Appendix

Mr Amos does not currently hold any other directorships of publicly quoted companies. During the previous five years, Mr Amos has been a director of Retail Decisions Group PLC.  There is no information to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the UK Listing Authority Rules.
